Mad Scot Media is the creative hub behind Hocus Pocus Comics and Mad Scot Books—a growing media studio and production headquarters dedicated to bold storytelling in every form. This is where ideas come to life: stories for readers of all ages are imagined, developed, and transformed into graphic novels, comics, e‑books, print editions, television, films, and videogames.  

We’re driven by original voices, fearless creativity, and a refusal to be limited by the conventions of traditional publishing. Launching our journey is Dwight L. MacPherson’s debut as an author with the thought‑provoking novella Welcome to Waadizi, Michigan—a story designed to spark curiosity and stay with you long after the final page.   Our philosophy mirrors that of Hocus Pocus Comics: We create for all ages, we embrace creative freedom, and we don’t get lost in the white noise of the traditional publishing machine. This is the golden era of self‑publishing—there has never been a better moment for fresh ideas, innovative storytelling, and new creative voices to be heard.
